I was commissioned to paint this meditation piece for Jennifer Monk, and it was so much fun to paint! Levi helped me plan it out in Photoshop and I was so excited it took me only a week and a half to paint; I had such great energy painting it. Love you Jennifer, thank you so much for all that you do and all that you are.
Help me name my latest painting!
Mr. Froggy Face is a Rainbow of Love!
Oh, I fell in love with a frog and he is a rainbow in my heart. Who will take him home and be showered in rainbows of this love? Every time you look at this painting you will be blessed with the abundance of love. Mr. Froggy face was my pick to represent the rainforest idea that was previously voted on in a Facebook poll.
The canvas dimensions are 16 by 20 inches. We are currently making a custom frame that will compliment this painting, and will update as soon as it is complete.

Big Big Update
Big big update! First off I want to let you know that I am so excited to be successfully selling prints, the Kung Fu animal set has been pretty popular, we have sold a few orders and have a few more on their way. I am so grateful for being able to have multiple people buying these and in the process I have even got to recieve prints of these to have in my home and I am feeling so blessed!
In the meantime, I have created a couple new original pieces and they are now available to view and purchase. Which reminds me we also are adding in some pieces that were done some time ago, and will keep looking through the house and will update as we can! New Categories have been added to the Portfolio and Shop: Paintings, Murals, Drawings, Pastels, and Mixed Media. Now you really have some different mediums to browse from. We went ahead and put in Art Prints FAQ describing the differences between the three Print options so now its easier to make a decision on which type of print to order. Last but not least, be sure to check out my fancy new business cards designed by my wonderful husband. (Feel free let us know if you need new business cards designed 🙂 )

What is a Lumira™ digital photo print?
A Lumira print, a trademarked product of our local Art Print House, is a digital photographic print made from a digital file using a ZBE Chromira 5x printer and Fuji Crystal archive paper. Lumira digital photo prints are notable because of their exceptional sharpness, color saturation and color accuracy.
What is a giclée?
Giclée (pronounced Zhee-Clay) is derived from the French word “gicler” which means “to squirt, to spray”. A giclée print is produced by specialized large format inkjet printers using archival inks and high quality archival canvas or fine art paper. The process is relatively new having its beginnings in the 1990’s when an IRIS inkjet printer was modified to make high quality photographic prints on watercolor paper. Now a variety of printers can be used to create giclée prints, including the industry standard Epson wide format printers which we use.
The Epson 11880 printers use the proprietary UltraChrome K3 ink set which includes Cyan, Light Cyan, Magenta, Vivid Magenta, Vivid Light Magenta, Yellow, Photo Black, Matte Black, Light Black, and Light Light Black. The combination of these colors on the canvas and the wide array of archival papers provides long-lasting prints displaying vivid colors, rich subtle tones and detailed blacks. Because these inks are watercolor pigment based, the prints made with them on archival paper can last from 70 to over 100 years without showing signs of noticeable fading.
From a marketing perspective, giclée prints are considered to be among the highest quality prints available and are sold through galleries and museums throughout the world.
Inner Light
So throughout the years I have a craving for doodling and it usually encompasses an eye. I love eyes, it is like looking into someones soul. I did this in pastel and acrylic paint. Shortly after the “Burst of Light” I did this piece not even realizing until a good friend of mine Jennifer Monk said that the, “burst of light,” is the reflection in the eye. Apparently my subconscious had that one figured out before me. 🙂 These two would be really cool in a hallway or something across from each other. It is fun to play with art in these pastel drawings I am really getting to play.

Loveland Youth Clinic Visit
Yesterday I went out to Medical Center of the Rockies and visited the Loveland Youth Clinic. I just got my new business cards this week and wanted to get some of them out to my business customers. It was so wonderful to hear the staff talk about how many comments they get from families and how much the kids love the artwork. It brings me a lot of joy and satisfaction to hear about how many people and kids I’m affecting.
The Loveland Youth Clinic is located at 2500 Rocky Mountain Ave (South building, second floor) Suite 260 Loveland CO. 80538 Feel free to stop in and check it out!
